Our Starlink Mini Flat Mounting Kit is designed and manufactured to provide a strong, neat and ultra-low-profile installation for caravans, campers, motorhomes, trucks, 4WDs, boats, roof racks and other suitable mounting applications.
The four-piece frame is designed specifically around the Starlink Mini, allowing the dish to sit securely within the mount while keeping the operating surface open and unobstructed.

MADE IN QUEENSLAND – BUILT FOR STRENGTH
We manufacture and 3D print these mounts in Queensland, Australia using quality ABS plastic and print settings selected for strength, rigidity and durability.
Our construction includes:
- 5-wall construction for increased strength and rigidity
- Gyroid infill throughout the printed structure
- Strong ABS plastic construction
- 4-piece interlocking design
- Ultra-low-profile fit designed specifically for the Starlink Mini
The combination of 5 walls and Gyroid infill produces a substantial printed component rather than relying primarily on thin external walls.
3D Printed Finish: As this product is manufactured using 3D printing, minor layer lines, print marks and slight surface variations are normal. These are characteristics of the manufacturing process and do not affect the intended function of the mount.
4-PIECE INTERLOCKING DESIGN
The mount consists of four individually manufactured sections that slide together and interlock to form the complete frame around the Starlink Mini.
Assembly markings are printed on the inside of the sections near the joins to assist with correct assembly.
Match the corresponding connection markings:
- A connects to A
- B connects to B
- C connects to C
- Continue matching the corresponding markings until all four sections are correctly positioned.
Align the matching sections and slide them together to form the complete mounting frame.
One section includes a dedicated cable opening marked “Cable”. Position this section to suit the Starlink Mini cable before completing the installation.
On the black version, the printed identification markings may be less visible, but they are located on the inside of the mounting sections.
MOUNTING THE FRAME
The completed frame can be installed on a caravan, camper, motorhome, truck, 4WD, boat, roof rack or other suitable surface using a mounting method appropriate for the particular installation.
Mounting options may include:
- Sikaflex adhesive/sealant
- High-strength automotive double-sided mounting tape
- M4 mounting hardware
- Suitable screws or bolts
- Rubber-coated neodymium magnets where appropriate
The mounting holes are approximately 4 mm.
For adhesive installations, all bonding surfaces should be properly prepared and must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and other contaminants.
Always select a Sikaflex or other adhesive product suitable for ABS plastic and the material being bonded to, and follow the adhesive manufacturer’s preparation, application and curing instructions.
SECURING THE STARLINK MINI
How is the Starlink Mini secured inside the frame?
The Starlink Mini can be retained within the mounting frame using a suitable adhesive or mounting system depending on your particular installation.
For our own installations, we use Sikaflex adhesive/sealant rather than standard silicone.
High-strength automotive double-sided mounting tape may also be suitable for some installations.
The installer should select a fixing method suitable for the ABS mount, mounting surface, operating environment and intended application.
BLACK ABS CONSTRUCTION & FINISH
Colour: Black
ABS is a strong and rigid thermoplastic with good dimensional stability and heat resistance, making it well suited to this type of mounting application.
The black ABS provides a clean finish that works particularly well with roof racks, 4WDs, trucks and darker installations.
The mount can also be appropriately prepared, primed and painted if you would prefer a different colour.

- Rubber-coated neodymium magnets if using a magnetic installation
- Surface preparation products or primer where required
- Paint or protective coating if required
Starlink equipment, adhesives, mounting hardware, magnets and finishing products are not included unless specifically stated.
IMPORTANT – KEEP THE STARLINK MINI UNCOVERED
DO NOT COMPLETELY COVER OR ENCLOSE THE STARLINK MINI DISH.
The Starlink Mini requires an unobstructed operating surface and appropriate ventilation. Covering or enclosing the dish may interfere with signal reception and may restrict heat dissipation, potentially affecting performance.
Our mounting frame is designed to secure the Starlink Mini while leaving the operating surface open and unobstructed.
